A Hasty End to Hosty

In my First Monday post back in October, I noted that Hosty v. Carter was one of the First Amendment cases that might be reviewed by the Supreme Court this term. Regretfully, the Court today denied cert, and will not hear the case. The Student Press Law Center issued a press release about the case, in which it had participated as an amicus, urging the Court to hear the case.
