Donald Trump has sued the author (Times business reporter Timothy O'Brien) and the publisher (Time Warner Book Group and Warner Books, Inc.) of the book Trump Nation: The Art of Being the Donald for defamation. The suit was brought in the superior court in Camden, New Jersey.
The allegedly defamatory statements at issue? Among other things, the complaint alleges that the book defames Trump by claiming that he is not a billionaire, but, rather, has a net worth somewhere between $150 and $250 million.
